VITAFOODS Europe 2023, recognition of our environmental ethic: the “INFORMA BETTER Stand” commission notes and reveals our significant position in improving the environmental impact of the design and construction of our stand at Vitafoods Europe 2023.

Fair For Life
This recognition of our work to conserve ecosystems and promote biodiversity and sustainable agricultural practice backs up our commitment to local development at our ACEROLA suppliers. Fair payment for work ensures that care and attention will be taken during production.
New Growing Fields
Our fields are currently cultivated in a non-intensive manner. They are also managed agronomically to produce high-quality raw materials.
In addition, our harvesting campaigns respect the natural life cycle of our plants. As a result we have decided to increase the amount of land we have under cultivation rather than exhaust our existing soils with intensive agriculture using too many artificial nutrients.
Adopting these environmentally friendly agricultural practices seemed a logical next step after we obtained GMP certification. The 30 ha we have recently acquired will allow us to nearly double production. A large number of crop rotations will benefit without exceeding the capacity of our significant extraction facilities.
Our Aims :
– To considerably reduce delivery lead times by obtaining independence of supply for our cultivated actives and fresh plants.
– To increase production volumes of extracts and respond more effectively and quickly to changes in the market.
– To ensure continuity and uniformity in our production batches.
– To improve traceability of our extracts.
Investment
500 m2 greenhouse : New development potential
The new facility has precision irrigation linked to a state-of-the-art heating system. The greenhouse will be used exclusively for plant experimental research.
From this point on, research, development and comparative growing programmes will enable us to study several varieties of the same plant at the same time. We will concentrate our efforts on plants with the highest potential using germination campaigns throughout the year.
There are a very large number of adaptation possibilities related to optimisation of the active principle in the living plant. Real time analysis in the fields will be used to learn a great deal about the development of the active principle during plant growth and the effect of different soil conditions and growing schedules.
This will lead to growing the plants in our own fields under more optimised real-life conditions, leading to better and higher quality yields.
To identify the best combinations of varieties of the same plant and the specific climatic and geological parameters of our experimental growing fields. From this we will be able to guarantee our raw materials as natural and GMO-free.

Fresh plant extracts / API
Market Trends
Due to the never-ending growth in demand for natural health extracts, we are again concentrating our efforts this year on developing extracts to meet your specifications. The quality and productivity of our raw material production is increasing with the benefit of detailed traceability from seed to extract as is the case with artichoke. We can produce standardised, titrated or API (part 3.2.S) plant extracts in full compliance with your medicine’s product license so it can be marketed in complete safety.

Organic Range
Extension of our Extension of our range of Organic extracts from plants grown on our land in Anjou (Valley of the Loire): new production of ECOCERT certified industrial batches is expected at the beginning of the Autumn just after the promising harvests and will be added to our QUALITY range. ».

What’s new ?
Drying Tools
Acquisition of a new drying machine with a high yield atomisation tower which has doubled our capacity and gives us a competitive advantage on Acerola extracts Acerola.
Storage Methods
Construction of a new temperature controlled 1400 m2 building for storing finished products with potential for 170 tonnes of additional dry extract capacity, along with 120 tonnes for concentrated extracts packaged in IBC containers Sensitive extracts can now be stored and controlled in the same way.
